Covid Information
We are committed to updating you and connecting with you through the global coronavirus pandemic. Understandably, this health emergency has caused concern and anxiety in our community and around the world. While we cannot eliminate all threats, we can take preventative steps to minimize risk. While the WHO states that wearing a mask can limit the spread of COVID-19, it also asserts that the use of a mask alone is not sufficient to provide adequate protection, and should be used in conjunction with other protective measures, like social distancing and maximizing ventilation. A perfect example of how all of these strategies work together (and why only partial prevention strategy does not suffice) is the Swiss Cheese Theory. We love this visual and find it extremely helpful to understand an otherwise nuanced concept. ~Yoga Alliance Updates
The CDC's new policy on wearing masks is this: if you are fully vaccinated, you can choose to wear a mask in the studio. However, the PA Department of Health requires people who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask in public buildings until 70% of Pennsylvanian adults are vaccinated. We will not ask you to prove you've been vaccinated.
If you are not vaccinated, it is your personal choice to wear a mask, but please understand that you are taking a risk for yourself and others who are not vaccinated.
Masks are not required for outdoor classes as long as participants follow social distancing guidelines. Please stay home if you are symptomatic.
All yoga classes are held on the lawn, weather permitting, and are capped at 25 participants. If the weather requires us to be indoors, classes are capped at ten students, which is why you are required to register prior to class.
